ElShamah - Reason & Science: Defending ID and the Christian Worldview

Otangelo Grasso: This is my library, where I collect information and present arguments developed by myself that lead, in my view, to the Christian faith, creationism, and Intelligent Design as the best explanation for the origin of the physical world.

1. This presentation will deal with the complex biosynthesis pathways of ribonucleotides and deoxyribonucleotides, the monomers, that make up RNA, and DNA, which stores genetic information
2. In her book "Symbiosis in Cell Evolution," published in 1967, Lynn Margulis wrote:
3. To go from a bacterium to people is less of a step than to go from a mixture of amino acids to a bacterium.
4. She addressed the significant challenges involved in bridging the gap between a mixture of basic building blocks and the complexity of living cells. She did highlight several key reasons why this transition is highly difficult to conceptualize by natural, unguided means.
5. Metabolism has always been considered as one of the most conserved cellular processes, that remains invariable from Bacteria to Eucarya
6. Here is an example of why this is so. Imagine a production line in a factory, full of robots. The raw material is fed to the production line. The materials arrive at robot one. It handles the first step. Once the product is ready, it moves on and is delivered to the next robot number 2. Next processing step. And this process is repeated several times. In the end, there is a fully formed intermediate product, like a car door.

8. In a production line of a human made factory, the entire production line and each robot, the correct positioning and the order in which each robot is placed must be planned and correctly implemented. Everything must be designed with a higher end goal in mind. And there is an interdependence. If one of the robots stops working for some reason, all manufacturing stops and the finished car cannot be completed. This means that a small misconnection of one of the robots on the production line can interrupt the door production and the finished car cannot be produced.
