ElShamah - Reason & Science: Defending ID and the Christian Worldview

Otangelo Grasso: This is my library, where I collect information and present arguments developed by myself that lead, in my view, to the Christian faith, creationism, and Intelligent Design as the best explanation for the origin of the physical world.

Blind Faith or Empirical Evidence?

What you believe to be true about evolution,
Is it true, or just a mere delusion?
Were you taught to believe, without questioning why,
Or have you explored, to find the truth that lies?

For over 150 years, since Darwin's book was penned,
Many papers have been written, theories proposed, and trends,
Yet not one has ever demonstrated, with empirical evidence,
That evolutionary mechanisms could cause macroevolution's existence.

Blind faith is what some use, to corroborate their beliefs,
Ignoring the facts, and the truth that science perceives,
For theories must be tested, with methods that are sound,
To prove their worth and substance, and the evidence that's found.

Werner Arber, Nobel Laureate, spoke of mechanisms in genetics,
That falsify the mutation and natural selection kinetics,
While James Shapiro, a microbiologist of renown,
Found no Darwinian accounts for biochemical or cellular systems, known.

So let us not be blinded, by beliefs that are not true,
But explore, question, and seek the truth, that science can imbue,
For only by seeking evidence, can we know what is real,
And not blindly accept, what others would have us feel.
