Claim: Creationism / Intelligent Design is not science.
Reply: The origin of life is the antithesis of repeatable; it is an event that supposedly occurred on one occasion, about four billion years ago. Even if modern laboratory experiments could create life from nonlife, we would have no confidence that the conditions of the laboratory experiments were consistent with those of the early Earth.
