If the New Testament is not true.............
then some " bronze age sheep herders " invented it two thousand years ago, and it stands as the most and best elaborated fiction writing, hoax, and deceptive literature of all times, deceiving and influencing billions of people of all ages and generations since the letters, epistles, gospels and prophecies were written, and doing it with big efforts, portraying historical figures, habits, places and events from various nations , geographically distant and distinct, in a historically accurate and precise manner. The writing styles would have had to be invented to look as if various authors wrote the letters, and everything would have had to be coordinated to seem to be true, legit, and integrated. Millions of lives over the past 2,000 years have been dramatically, positively changed by its message, and an ostensible encounter with the avowed author of it all. The authors would have had to have luck as a winner in las vegas, getting hundreds of end time prophecies right, as the fact that there would come a time, where society would do all financial transactions without money, microchip implant in the skin, where the world would unite to a one world government, TV could transmit live and real time, etc. etc. Either the New Testament is all true, or its not true at all. No false dichotomy here. What amazing faith atheist require to reject the truthfulness of the new testament. Amazing. Just amazing....... - or maybe its just increduility ?!!
The only book coming close, would be the Quran. Problem is: the authors of it didn't take care enough to borrow uneducated science from the greeks and hide it well enough.
